I want to purchase an unlocked Tmobile Sidekick 2, but I don’t know if the internet or texting will work. Help

I really want a new Sidekick 2 (Sidekick 3’s are TERRIBLE) but I have Cingular/AT&T. The phone I have picked out is unlocked, but I’m not sure if that means I can also use texting and internet.
