Fly High Maintain Aircraft Well

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Wright brothers used to see the birds fly and had a desire of building one special vehicle which could fly in the sky just like birds. They did find a solution finally for flying in the air. They built an aircraft, which had ability to take off into the air and move in atmosphere. They used to call this an Aircraft and later it became Airplane.

When pilots fly high in the sky, they take some powerful direction showing aviation GPS systems with them. These systems help pilots in tracing the things coming on their way. These GPS system has ability to show the location in which they are flying, route to their destination and the direction map to their destination. Good GPS systems have the ability to read elevation levels of the airplane from the ground. These systems show some important points like nearest airports, mountains and other heights coming their way.

An aircraft is fully equipped with modern technology devices. These latest technological devices help the pilot in tracking the flights movement. Aircrafts are also equipped with automatic pilot software. This software flies the flight automatically without the assistance of a driver in worse situations. Aircraft maintenance is an important issue, any minor repair inside the engine or systems software that is not made can cost lives.

Scooter Spares and Chargers

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Scooter parts are the essential spares that are needed for your scooter to run perfect and give optimum performance. The parts are designed for customized purposes and can be used perfectly well with folding scooter, freestyle scooter, skateboard scooter, gas motorized scooter, executive scooter, gas motorized scooter three wheel folding scooter, electric motorized scooter and many more. Some of the most commonly used and required scooter parts manufactured for different purposes include, rubber parts, floor rubber and mats, engine and electrical parts, crank case gear group, clutch gear selector, speedometer and many more.

A machine cannot run all by itself, and scooter is no different. A high performance scooter battery is used to get your scooter’s engine and lights work with full energy. Alkaline batteries and coin cell batteries are two most commonly used batteries. Scooter batteries are chargeable and for this you need to have a good scooter charger. Low cost scooter charger may at times does not give that much needed performance, and as a result of which the overall efficiency of scooter hampers. Look for a good warranty scooter battery, as this would allow you not to recharge the battery of your scooter again and again after shorter period of time.

For the real-world pilots…..?

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

I am extremely interested in becoming a pilot but I am not sure exactly how to go about doing so… I am a sophmore in High School.. Love Boeing.. And dream to be a commercial airline pilot.

The main thing you need to give your attention to right now is just doing a good job of the tasks that are on your plate today. You will be old enough to consider the technical details of your training and career development sooner than you think.

Right now, concentrate on being a person of good character and achievement. Stay out of trouble: no drugs, no alcohol, no trouble with the law like stealing or assault. A reputation as a person of good character and social skills will work in your favor.

Take the courses you want to take, and talk it over with your school guidance counselor and your family. Make sure you do well in mathematics and sciences, and also spend some time on civics and government, and also on geography. A professional pilot has to have a really good understanding of law and regulations, and has to know where things are around the planet.

At the same time, do well in some physical pursuit. You can’t be a couch potato. Do okay in Phys Ed, and find a personal sport that will help you develop strength and coordination. This is important.

Also, read everything you can get your hands on about airplanes and aviation. The more detailed knowledge you have, the easier it will be for you to learn the things you need to know to pass your aviation tests when the time comes. Spend time in the library and read all the books and magazines about aviation and related subjects.

If you want to go by way of the military (and that’s the most certain way of getting into the flight deck of an airliner), see your Air Force, Navy, or Marine Corps recruiter. You can go to see them any time, even at age 15. Your recruiter will advise you what college to go to and what to major in to maximize your chances of getting into military flight training.

When you are about 17, find the nearest flight school and go talk to the instructors. Sign up for an introductory flight, and see what it feels like to fly a real airplane. Do it that way, and avoid computerized flight simulators like FSX. The simulators will teach you bad habits and give you a mistaken impression of what it’s like to fly a real airplane. Get some experience in the real thing before you mess with simulators. This is important.

Get your private pilot certificate as soon as you can. It will get you a head start on whatever additional training you need, either civilian or military.

What’s your 2nd choice for a career? Get a degree in that. Many say that because airlines don’t care what your degree is in, and many people either don’t make it or wind up leaving the field to do something else. This way, you can go for your dream job and still have a good backup. A degree in “Aviation Science” won’t do jack for you when you get furloughed. With that out of the way, I recommend going to your local state college to get your degree. This is an expensive career choice and there’s no sense spending tons of money on some fancy private university. In the mean time, go to your local flight school and get a private pilot’s license. You could also try the military route. Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a pilot slot, just by signing up.

From there, you have many choices. After college, you can continue flying locally and getting your ratings. You can also spend a lot of money and go to a bigger flight school where you learn full time and get all your ratings in a very short period.

Once you have a commercial pilot’s license, you typically have to work up your hours by flight instructing, banner towing, etc. If and how long you do this depends on the pilot market. Hiring has come to a crawl, if not a standstill now, so plan on a couple/few years.

Your first airline job will probably be for a regional airline, unless you father is on the hiring board at some airline. Work your way up the ranks and keep filling out applications to your dream airline. If you went the military route (as an airplane pilot that is), you would most likely skip the regionals and go straight to a major airline.

The most important thing to remember in this career, is that knowing the right people is all that matters. Be social and keep in touch with everybody. You never know who will be on the hiring board somewhere and might be able to get you a job. Lots of people start out with the dream, but realize it’s not what they thought it would be like…so make sure you have a backup career plan.

2008 Nissan Sentra. What color and package?

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

http://www.nissanusa.com/sentra/#/photos…

I believe that I will be getting one over the next few days. I like black, but what other colors do you think looks good.

Also, how do you feel about the CVT Convienence Package for an additional $1,000, which includes:
# Intelligent Key keyless entry and ignition system (Requires Xtronic CVT™)
# Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System
# Leather-wrapped steering wheel
# Integrated overhead CD holder
# Divide-N-Hide™ trunk system
# Cargo net and hooks
# Remote trunk release

I think red and white looks very nice.
I’m actually getting a black Nissan Sentra but I had no choice since it’s a used car for a really good price.
Go ahead with the Package. Sounds good

Go with the dark red, and the grey interior

…………….

Go used and get an Altima instead. It’s a better car in every way. Also don’t go black because it’s hard as hell to keep clean.

Is my sub broken or can i fix it?

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

we were playin a song with alot of bass and my sub was up +6db and the part of the song had alot of bass then the sub just stopped with the bass and started makin this weird sound and it was really weak, it kinda like someone had farted, it was still playing with the song but really bad
can i fix it or is the sub broken
its a 12in JL audio total mobile audio sub with an xplod 600W amp(which was extremely hot)

By the way you describe it, I’d say the subs are blown. There’s no doubt you were over-powering the amp as well (hence the heat), but if you were over-powering it too much it would have went into protection mode anyway, and you would have heard absolutely no sound from the subs at all. So in the end I’d go back to where you got the subs and luckily you’ll have some sort of warrantee on the speakers and can replace them if they’re in fact blown. There are too many complicated components to a subwoofer driver for it to just be fixed. It’d be less time consuming and less money out of your pocket to just buy a new one or get it replaced.

……….

Try hook up different sub cause it could be the amp. If the sub are the problem try to contact JL audio manufacturing for replace

…………..

your 1st mistake was buying Sony. ANYTHING from sony car audio is NOT really build “Ford Tough”. u may have fried the amp. but check the sub on a different amp 1st to make sure. I can almost guarantee its the amp though

Can you think of a way to sell a 2006 VW in which I still owe?

Monday, July 7th, 2008

payments? Who would buy it? Where do I sell it?

The trick here is the bank holds your title because you owe on it.

So in order to sell it the bank must be paid in full to release the title so you can sell the vehicle.

If you want to trade it in for another car a dealer can help you with this. Remember the phrase “We will pay off your trade no matter what you owe”.

The down side is if you owe more than the car is worth.
the additional costs are added into your new car.

……………

You can try selling it yourself through Craiglist, it’s free. There are other sites available such as eBay but they will charge you a fee.

Whats the low-down with making cds that will play in a car?

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

So I’m trying to make a cd that will play in a car, except i can’t get it to work. I used sonic record, and chose the option
“make a cd for a car.” If i’m not mistake, what that does is finalize the disc, putting a code that will allow the cd to play in a car. What is it that stops a cd from playing in a car? How can i get it to work?

ok i Ive been researcihng it, and so far i’ve heard that it depends on the type of disc-brand and if its cdr or cdrw. Then ive heard it depends on the file type-mp3, mp4, ect. Then i heard it depends on the cars stereo. Help! Does anyone actually know?

There’s two things that may be happening.

One is that your CD player in your car is not capable of playing burned CDs. That shouldn’t happen since most stereos today can play burned CDs. Regardless, if that were to happen you would have to install a new head unit (stereo/CD player)

The other thing that may be happening is that you are not burning the songs in the correct format, should be mp3 for most cars, or you are not using a CD-R. CD-R means that you can write on the disc, but can not write on it again. CD-RW is the type that can be written on over and over again.

To fix this, get a blank CD-R disc and put it in the cd drive on your computer. Load software and select the songs. When selecting songs, make sure the file extension is .mp3. Choose the songs you want, usually about 12-15 depending on size. Then burn, and once it is done go test it out.

If that doesn’t work, try using windows media player’s burn option. If the files aren’t .mp3 it will convert them for you.

Finally if that does not work, you may need a new stereo. Which will between $80-$100 plus instillation if you don’t do it yourself.

there is no code that stops or enables a cd from playing in the car. it usually does it by itself. its just like any other disc, it works in anything that plays discs. i suggest researching some better software for burning cd’s.

Getting Stainless Steel Nerf Bars

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

If you have a truck, you’d most likely want to add some accessories to it. Actually, there are a lot of truck accessories that are sold in the market. All of them have their own useful features and they also help in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your truck. They have a lot of practical values as well. Making a careful choice will help you find the best truck accessories that will be useful to you and your business. One of the many truck accessories that you should have are truck nerf bars.

There are actually all sorts of nerf bars that you can find in online and offline stores. There are nerf bars with black acrylic finish. You’d also find chrome plated nerf bars and stainless steel nerf bars. Nerf bars that are stainless are without doubt, the best in quality. However, you should be careful when purchasing stainless nerf bars. You need to take your time when purchasing stainless nerf bars to avoid fakes. Due to unstable nickel prices, stainless steel materials fluctuate and are often quite high. So, you need to find stores that are able to offer the most affordable prices and those that are genuine.

When looking for stainless steel nerf bars, look for highly buffed steel that would give brilliant mirror appearance. They should be covered with a warranty. Stainless nerf bars are usually non-pitting and resistant to corrosion so you are ensured of long years of use.

YAMAHA 700R vs HONDA 700XX?

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

The honda has independent rear suspension but the yami has been made for much longer. Personaly I think it all depends on where you are ridding. Trails, the independent rear will do miracles! Dunes, the Yami’s engineering and years of exprience have to count for something. They both have great powerbands that are smooth and long and steady. I have ridden a 2007 Raptor700 and it was great but I ride a crf450r and trust Honda’s reliability every day. Go sit on em, and think about the rear suspension.

Yamaha!!! We bought a Yamaha Road Warrior 1700 and now we are buying an R1. Dude, Yamaha all the way. We’ve never been let down. :D
